"DALEKS ARE NOT PROGRAMMED WITH HUMAN CONCEPTS OF GOOD AND EVIL. I AM NOT LIKE ALL DALEK. ENGINEER UNITS DO NOT KILL, THEY FIX. EPSILON FIXES."~Epsilon, Not Your Average Doctor [link]
This is my OC Epsilon. It is butler/maid/cook/etc for my 'alternate' Doctor. Epsilon still retains the aggressive mannerisms of the Daleks but it lacks the will or understanding to kill. It was formerly part of a engineering sect for the Daleks during the Time War, but was accidentally ejected to a refuse planet. Later, the unfortunate Dalek was found, by the Doctor, trying to rebuild itself out of random debris and trash. Being an engineer does have its quirks as you can see.
Did I mention it likes bow ties? lol
I tried out of new way to shade the armor or "Dalekenium". In my previous pictures, Epsilon was a lot more reflective as I think the reflective metal looks really snazzy. The problem was my wrist easily got tired from all that repetitive motion so I'm trying out a simpler, opaque way of coloring the armor. In the future, I hope to improve this method.
Time: ???
Tools: pencil, paper, mouse
Program: GIMP 2.6
